Problem
Daily problems we face relating to density.

How do we find the density of a solid object; in particular irregularly shaped minerals and rocks?

First, we need to find the weight in grams (g).
Then we need to find the volume cubic centimeters (cm³).
Then we divide the mass by the volume; g/cm³

Because the items are irregularly shaped, we will need to do a water displacement activity to find the volume.
